Dear Chocolatier, thank you for checking out my letter! I'm [archiveofourown.org profile] riiiied on AO3, and if you're reading this letter I'm guessing you're interested in offering these fandoms/character combinations, which is awesome already! These prompts are just examples of what I'd like to see with these relationships, so if you have any other ideas that don't contradict DNWs, feel free to go for it!

(This letter may contain spoilers for the requested canons)

General likes: Character studies, getting to know each other, friendly rivalry, missing scene. Smut also totally welcome.
General art likes: Either muted, limited palettes or very bright ones, fancy costumes (I'm not too knowledgeable about art terms, but I'm pretty easily pleased with art)
General DNWs: Genderswap, unrequested crossover/fusions, unrequested non-canon background pairings, non-con except for the "outside forces made them do it" variation

Fandoms:

BanG Dream! Girl's Band Party (Video Game)

Relationship(s): Hikawa Hina/Maruyama Aya, Okusawa Misaki/Seta Kaoru, Seta Kaoru/Shirasagi Chisato, Kitazawa Hagumi & Okusawa Misaki

General prompts:

-Art-specific: "Girls in costumes playing/posing together with instruments" with any requested character combination is always welcome - I basically heavily dig the aesthetics of the in-game cards, so you can't really go wrong with something in that vein except with two girls in one picture. And if you're doing something with Kaoru, I'd also love anything stage play-themed.

-Anything putting the band/music theme up & centre - practising together, trying out each others' instruments, writing lyrics (while not-so-secretly sneaking messages within the lyrics), other preparations for concerts etc.

-Getting to know each other through forming the bands (or even further back, in the case of Kaoru/Chisato)

-Considering the occasion, chocolate/sweets making, giving, & trading! Who's amazing in the kitchen, who's not so hot at it, who just goes straight for store-bought? (Or maybe someone just straight-up forgets?)

Relationship-specific prompts:

Hina/Aya:
-Hina has her fascination with "other people" and we've seen that getting directed towards Aya in-game (much to Aya's chagrin). I'd love to see that taken further, with Hina carrying out elaborate "experiments" to see what gets Aya to react in the most "fun" way, and Aya's reaction to that - getting cross? Exasperated but resigned? Trying to get back, with mixed results?

-I'm definitely open with taking the previous prompt to a smutty place - Hina trying to find out everything that pushes Aya's buttons and proceeds to apply her newfound knowledge to reduce Aya to a whimpering mess. (And maybe Aya tries to do the same, with whatever results you want.)

-Aya (accidentally) ends up finding all of Hina's more air-headed side, for all of her natural genius (she did think the mike was broken when it was just turned off in one in-game cutscene, after all).

Misaki/Kaoru:
-Misaki seems to be less susceptible to Kaoru's princely act than some of the other girls, but that doesn't mean she never gets flustered by said antics at all (there's the love confession acting, for one). Perhaps Kaoru sets out to find what character she should take up to break through Misaki's deadpan indifference, and what works ends up being the most unexpected thing to both of them (maybe an uncharacteristic moment of frankness from Kaoru?).

-For a more humorous twist, it's Michelle that Kaoru's trying to woo, for one reason or another (girl bears can be princesses too!), and Misaki's having all kinds of mixed reactions inside.

-Michelle's true identity coming out could be also a fun one - does Kaoru react with dramatic surprise, comical denial, confirming that she already knew but was just playing along, or something else?

Kaoru/Chisato:
-We've been told in-game of how much Kaoru has changed from their childhood days, but what about Chisato? Was there a time when her personality was less calculated? I'd love to see more of their past friendship and/or all the ways things have changed between them - do either or both of them miss the good old days, or are things not so much different even now?

-They're also very much actors in their daily lives although in different ways, and I'd be interested in seeing how much they're able to shed of that mask when in each other's company.

-Outsider POV from their respective fanbases - are they jealous or supportive of their closeness?

Hagumi & Misaki:
- What I like about these two is how surprisingly perceptive they turned out to be about each other - there's Hagumi noticing Misaki acting kinda off in presence her non-bandmate classmates, and Misaki pinpointing what Hagumi was hung up on during the sports festival. Maybe they become each other's unexpected confidants about their other problems?

- As Misaki gets less hung up on trying to quit the band, maybe Hagumi tries to teach softball to Misaki or even "Michelle" (would Misaki in a bear suit be any good at softball?), or the other way around with Misaki sharing her needlework with Hagumi.

-Michelle's identity coming out also works here. Would Hagumi react like a child discovering Santa isn't real, or would she unexpectedly take it in stride? In the case of something in the lines of the former, how would Misaki handle it? Like she would her little sister?

80 Days

Relationship(s): Phileas Fogg & Jean Passepartout, Phileas Fogg/Jean Passepartout

Canon-specific DNW: Mundane AU

-Art-specific: the two of them with a backdrop of any of the interesting and unusual sights that they encounter in their travels would be lovely, e.g. the big festival in Paris, the underwater wildlife near Brisbane, or even the more esoteric transportation methods like the one they rode to the North Pole. Would also be interesting to have them doing seemingly normal everyday stuff, e.g. having tea, reading newspapers, or even something a bit more intimate, while very much not-everyday-happenings are going on in the background.

-I can't claim that I've cleared the game 100%, but even with the number of choices there are, I'd definitely be interested in seeing other routes and stops that aren't in the game. All the different ways to get around the world in 80 days!

-General post-clear stuff, for either scenario. Post-victory, is there any "returning to normal"? How had the journey changed their relationship, for better or worse? What does that money all get used for? Post-loss, do they actually go around the world again, and for what goal? How does the debt get paid, if at all?

-I find the steampunk world of this adaptation really neat, so anything that deals with that worldbuilding would be cool. Fic or art, I'd like to see them dealing with automatons together, whether smaller ones or those big enough to ride in or even seemingly intelligent ones, whether back home or in the middle of travels.

-Expanding on any in-game side stories would be awesome, but for an example, the moon launch story is awesome crack that I'd love to see more of. Did the rocket actually land on the moon? Did it crash elsewhere, and was it fatal? How would Passepartout spend his days back in London without his master - enjoying his freedom, or with lingering thoughts of his master? If Fogg did manage to return, regardless of the outcome, will they be going back to the same arrangement?

-If you're doing the romantic version of the relationship: Depending on your choices you can see hints of Passepartout's feelings, but what would make it act on it first? Or how does the feelings come up on Fogg's side? Something slow burn-ish covering their whole trip (or beyond) would be fantastic, especially if there are lots of subtle, barely-noticeable-to-outsiders gestures of affection. This ship can be a trove of loyalty kink, too - just how far is Passepartout willing to go for his master?

The House in Fata Morgana

Relationship(s): Yukimasa Aida/Pauline Asama

Canon-specific DNW: Non-reincarnation mundane AU, pure fluff, straightforward "reformed by love" plots

(re: the last 2 of the specific DNWs, basically what I want is no glossing over/easily hand-waving away Yukimasa's murderous side. It doesn't have to be pure tragedy with no happiness allowed, but I'd prefer if those issues aren't ignored or only mentioned once & forgotten.)

The Chapter 2 twist (and by extension the related parts of Chapter 8) got me real good. What initially seemed like a standard tragic romance turned out to be something far more complicated, which I found totally fascinating.

-Art-specific: blood. Blood is totally welcome (and feel free to go vivid if you wish). Also gestures that are ambiguously romantic & threatening at the same time (e.g. forehead touching + choking motion).

-More on what went in their minds when approaching the other early on, in either lifetime. Was Pauline's love-at-first-sight claim actually more about her martyr complex, and why this swordsman who came from who-knows-where when there are plenty of people around her also needing her help? How did Yukimasa decide that his boss' daughter was going to be his tether - was he already thinking of it when preparing that gifted dress?

-Did Pauline ever notice something "off" with Yukimasa in either lifetime? Did she try to brush it off as nothing to worry about, convince herself that there had to be an explanation for it, try to fix it without knowing the full extent of everything he had been repressing?

-Yukimasa going through the motions of a romantic relationship, from courtship gestures to actual intercourse, thinking it'd help him understand romantic/sexual attraction more and/or make him actually feel those for Pauline. (Please don't take it to the issuefic direction, however.)

-I haven't read beyond the main VN, so I don't know what's covered in the present day chapter of the Vita version, but I'd be interested in modern-day reincarnation AU scenarios, compliant with additional canon or otherwise. Perhaps what looked like a reunion of star-crossed lovers falls apart when Yukimasa's tendencies come to light and Pauline recalls how her second go at life ended.

-If you don't mind going smuttier, with either fic or art: take Morgana's advice literally and actually have Pauline put a leash and/or collar on him. Or blade play (with or without blood kink on the side) as a way for him to deal with his tendencies in a less directly murderous way. (As a note, although I DNW'd non-con I'd be fine with dub-con here.)
