Fandom Growth Exchange 2018 Letter

Hi there, and thank you for checking out my letter! I'm riiiied on AO3, and if you're here I assume you're interested in offering for some of these fandoms/pairings/characters, which is awesome already! This letter has notes on some things I might like to see for my requests, but if you have any other ideas that don't hit any stated DNWs, feel free to use that too!

General likes: character studies, missing scenes, characters getting to know each other, rivalry, relationships with mixed/fraught feelings, banter, post-canon, canon divergence
Smut likes: kink exploration/experimentation, sex while half-clothed, face-touching
General art likes: Either muted, limited palettes or very bright ones, fancy costumes (I'm not too knowledgeable about art terms, but I'm pretty easily pleased with art)

General DNWs: genderswap-to-het for M/M & F/F ships, A/B/O dynamics, de-aging, unrequested crossovers/AUs, unrequested background non-canon pairings

Characters/relationships: Rune Zhevitz

(I've read up to milestone two side: above, though I wouldn't mind spoilers for the Silence the Pedant demo)

- I was pleasantly surprised at the mix of magic & tech in the VN's worldbuilding, which is why I'd love to see more of Rune! I'd really love to see more of how her magic-robotic body actually works, whether back in her hometown or during her travels with Ritona & Selphine. For example, since she's powered by mana, does she get anything equivalent to mana shocks/deprivation like humans, even if not in the same way/in lesser magnitude? Could she ever learn to do manakravte?

- For art, I'd definitely love to see something that showcases her more robotic side, e.g. her in the middle of maintenance/upgrade. Or put her in new get-ups and/or hairstyles!

- I'm also interested in just how much of the original Rune is in her, particularly her blood lust - is it something she has to explicitly repress, and does it ever get uncontrollable? And while she doesn't have the permissions to shut down her emotional processes, what would happen if someone else does?

The House in Fata Morgana
Characters/relationships: Yukimasa Aida/Pauline Asama, Giselle & Morgana

(I've finished the main VN, Requiem, and everything in Collected Edition)

Yukimasa/Pauline:
- What a fascinating mess. What initially seemed like a standard tragic romance turned out to be something far more complicated and unbalanced, and I'd love to see all those cracks under the veneer - in the first two lifetimes, did she ever feel that something was "off" about him, and did she do anything about it? How exactly did he see her, beyond being his tether, and what's really going through his mind as he plays the lover role?

- I'd also be interested in modern reincarnation scenarios, Reincarnation chapter-compliant or not, especially if she discovers his true nature - can their relationship really survive that revelation long-term?

- If you don't mind going smuttier, I'd love to see kinky sex as a less outright murderous outlet for his impulses - maybe bloodplay and/or knifeplay? As for art: go bloody if you want (and feel free to go vivid if you wish). Also gestures that are ambiguously romantic & threatening at the same time (e.g. forehead touching + choking motion).

Giselle & Morgana:
- Speaking of complicated relationships, this is another one. I'm especially interested in the period of time between Giselle accepting Morgana's offer and the first reconstruction taking place - what else were they doing in the hundreds of years where there were only the two of them in the mansion? Or similarly for the time between reconstructions. Art of them hanging around the mansion would be lovely.

- I'd also be interested in seeing what Morgana thought to herself about Giselle back when the latter was alive - we see what she told Michel, but is there anything she kept to herself?

- Something set post-Happily Ever After would be great too - how would they go about their more normal lives, with no curses going around? (Again, I'm fine with both Reincarnation-compliant or not.)

Ping Pong
Characters/relationships: Hoshino Yutaka/Tsukimoto Makoto, Kong Wenge

(I'm familiar with both the anime and the manga)

Peco/Smile:
- I simply adore how their relationship changes and grow, how they went from unconsciously mutually sabotaging each other to more positively affecting each other. I'd be really interested in seeing more of what happened in the five year before the time skip epilogue - how would their relationship change when it's clear that they're aiming at different places with regards to the sport? Just how did Smile change from his emotionless robot persona to the more cheerful man he is in the epilogue, and what role does Peco play in it?

- I'd also be interested in something more bittersweet set in the timeframe when they were avoiding each other, especially a look in what they thought about not just each other, but also the sport during that time.

- I'd also totally welcome PWPs - maybe some clumsy first-time scenario, or post-epilogue long-distance cybersex, or whatever you want. Or do something related to that "blood tastes like iron line".

Kong Wenge:
- While pretty much everyone in this canon got a satisfying growth arc, I especially liked Wenge's, with the way he starts off arrogant and eager to go home to fitting in with his new teammates, and I'd love to see more of him. Perhaps more with his teammates at his school team, and how he gradually became more friendly with them - something similar to how he cooked for them in the Christmas montage would be lovely.

- Or maybe something that explores how he ended up deciding to stay in Japan for the long run and why he chose his new surname, and the road from there to him being on the national Japanese team.

- More interactions between him & his coach, as well as everything to do with how he relates to his original homeland, would be interesting too. What was his sporting life like back in China, and is he still in contact with anyone else from back then?

Teppuu
Characters/relationships: Ishidou Natsuo/Mawatari Yuzuko

- I really dig the rivalry between this two. I once heard them being described as "shounen sports protagonist & antagonist except switched around", and although Natsuo definitely fills the villain protagonist role quite well, Yuzuko's not quite the straightforward shounen hero-in-rival-role either, with various characters noting things that feel "off" about her.

- Would love to see more of their rivalry - where would they spar again? Is it in another official tournament, would Natsuo be crashing Yuzuko's club, or is it in some back alleyway? What are the results this time? If Natsuo does win, what's next for her? Would there ever be anything during sparring that completely wipes the smile off Yuzuko's face?

- Any artwork of these two mid-sparring would be awesome. Fighting that leads to something more sexual but still rough is definitely welcome too.
