Hello there, and thanks for taking the time to check out my letter! I'm [archiveofourown.org profile] riiiied on AO3, and if you're reading this letter I'm guessing you're interested in offering these fandoms/characters, which is awesome already! I'm pretty easy to please, and these prompts are just examples of what I'd like to see with this characters. If you have any other ideas with these characters that doesn't contradict DNWs, feel free to go for it!

General likes: character studies, missing scenes, characters getting to know each other, rivalry, relationships with mixed/fraught feelings, banter, post-canon, canon divergence, smut (unless mentioned otherwise), non-standard formats (and when it comes to treats, I'm open to art/IF/other non-fic formats!)

General DNWs: genderswap-to-het for M/M & F/F ships, A/B/O dynamics, de-aging, mundane AUs, background non-canon pairings not mentioned in prompts

Fandoms:

(I've selected any characters for every fandom - while my prompts are focused on either solo or some pairs, feel free to use any combination of any nominated characters)

Flying Witch

(Note: I'm only familiar with the anime, though I don't mind manga spoilers)

This show was such a delight. I like the blend of laid-back small town life and magical elements, how the non-witch characters slowly grow accustomed to fantastic things happening around them, the nice touches of humour that never get too much, just relaxing and delightful all around. I'd love to see almost anything for this series, really - the only DNWs I can think of are NSFW stuff involving Chinatsu or the animal companions.

Prompts:

-In general, I just totally love how the series blends the mundane and the fantastic, and would definitely love more of the like, perhaps with Makoto just going about with magic that is mundane to them but not to the non-witches, or them deliberately showing off magical things.

-I'm not opposed to something less light-hearted, either. For example, Makoto said that only relatives were supposed to know of her witch status, yet she inadvertently told Nao - would there be any consequences? Or maybe what was supposed to be a harmless magical trick went completely wrong. That being said, I'd prefer if it doesn't devolve into 100% grimdark.

-Makoto: How was her life back before she moved in with the Kuramotos, with a witch family? If she would need to go back, would she have a lot to re-adjust to? Also, we see her fail at spells a lot in the series, but I'd love to see more of her learning new spells.

-Chinatsu: Chinatsu's magical training! What would it look like if Chinatsu's training to be a witch started in all seriousness? How would it differ from someone who was a witch by lineage? If you take this to the long term, does she ever think about changing her mind as she grows?

-Kei: I'd like to see how he manages living so close with a witch - does he ever have to clean up when something goes wrong with Makoto's spells, for example? Would he play any role in Chinatsu's magical training? Or maybe he also gets rope into learning some magic together with her?

-Nao: How does she deal with her knowledge of magic when she's with her other normal human friends - does she ever get twitchy wanting to tell them, or desperately trying to hide any smallest sign? If you don't mind Makoto/Nao, I'd also love to see her being half-weirded out, half amused/flattered at Makoto's witch-like attempts to court her, whether successful or not.

The House in Fata Morgana

I really loved all the twists & turns in this series. So many compelling characters, but nomination limits meant I had to pick & choose just a few I really want more stuff about. I'd be interested in stuff set in any canonical lifetime of each character, including modern reincarnation (whether Reincarnation chapter-compliant or not).

-Ceren: I find her brand of cray utterly fascinating and would definitely love to see more of how other people perceive her broken understanding of sadness & empathy. What did she think about learning "proper" reactions to other people and to fake sadness & empathy? Did anyone at Maria's brothel ever get a glimpse of the "off" side of her? With modern reincarnation scenarios, how would she live with this "eccentricity" of hers?

-Maria: In her first life, just how much trouble did she have at the orphanage? How did she help with building up the brothel? Seeing how she learned to read & write as she worked there would be interesting, as also her developing a hobby for collecting knives. For her second life, what was it like for her growing up in a mafia family? At the mansion, how does she interact with the other servants (The Maid included) - just how privy are they to her true intentions?

-Pauline: During her first life, how was her childhood at the orphanage? How did other people at her first church view her sometimes excessive generosity? She had other dreams beyond what she could aim for as a nun - did she ever actually plan how she might have achieved them, however unlikely? During her second life, how did she usually spend her days back home?

-Yukimasa: I find his bloodthirst morbidly fascinating, and I'd be interested in seeing the other ways he's tried to control it - "experimenting" with animals first? Did he ever tried to use other people as tethers besides who we've seen in canon? He also seems to have some baggage regarding his heritage in his second lifetime - perhaps something that explores that?

-I also ship Yukimasa/Pauline like it's my job and would love more stuff involving this fascinating trainwreck. Did Pauline ever notice anything "off" about Yukimasa in the first two lifetimes, and if she finds out about his true nature, how does that change how she interacts with him? How did he come to choose her as his tether each time, and what was it like for him feigning interest in her? I won't say no to some kinky/smutty ways for him to deal with his bloodlust either.

fault

I really love the worldbuilding for this series - I find the magic system fascinating and I was pleasantly surprised by the magic/sci-fi mix - and I find the characters endearing as well. It's an open canon, so if you're not worried about getting jossed down the line, I'd love anything set anywhere in the timeline of the story, from missing scenes to future fic! I'm down for both gen and shippy, and as far as ships go, feel free to mix & match each of the characters in the tag set.

Prompts:

-An exploration of the worldbuilding aspects & how they affect the characters! Like characters learning & using various types of kravte both in battle/duty or daily life, or more on the Path-Down mechanics. Contrasts between magic used in the inner poles & tech in the Outer Pole would be interesting too!

-Selphine: As mentioned above, more on how she deals with the Path-Down, e.g. does she ever get Empress Syndrome with her other ancestors? How would things change when she finally becomes queen and how would she rule? While she's discouraged from using much manakravte, it'd be interesting to see more of her relationship with magic as well.

-Ritona: There's StP coming up wich will show her early days as part of the royal guard, but I'd love to see something that explores that even for now, especially her relationships with the "old crew". How did her mastery of manakravte develop? How did her relationship with Selphine change through time? Would her role change when Selphine finally ascends the throne?

-Rune: I'd really love to see more of how her magic-robotic body actually works, e.g. considering she's mana-powered, does she get anything equivalent to mana shocks/deprivation like humans? Could she ever learn to do manakravte? How much of her old self's blood lust is in her? And while she doesn't have the permissions to shut down her emotional processes, what would happen if someone else does?

-Flora: More on life at Serenhaide court! I'd also be interested in what she's been doing after Ritona becomes the Guardian- how much have they been keeping up since then? Also, what it's like being part of a branch family that might potentially replace the main royal family in dire situations - a divergent AU where that happens could be interesting.

Kindred Spirits on the Roof

(I've completed the game 100% and listened to all of the drama CDs)

This is such a feel-good canon, I enjoyed pretty much all of the canon relationships in the end. tl;dr give me more of these ghost-matchmade girls at any point of the story and I'd be happy! I'm fine with any rating. (Also, I grouped some of the pairs below in a single bullet point for ease of organisation, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be okay with stuff focusing on just one and not the other)

Prompts:

-Ano: What were her other experiences with the supernatural like? Would be interesting to see more of her nerdy exploits too, e.g. going to Comiket or hanging around with the manga club & going to their Shiroket. Does she get more problems with unwanted admirers down the line, and does she get an actual girlfriend later? (I'm partial to Ano/Nena and Ano/Yuna (no Hina-bashing please though))

-Nena: More on her friendship with Umi & Sasa - what do others think of this seemingly mismatched trio? How is college life for the three of them? What will happen on their Hawaii trip? How would their friendship be like once they hit adulthood? What's Tamachi really like & how does Nena really deal with her? Is she any interested in getting a girlfriend for herself?

-Aki & Youka: A seemingly unlikely pair, but they work so well (and adorably) together. Would definitely love to see more of them getting into each others' interests - does Aki really get into learning to play the guitar? What does she think of Youka's bandmates? What about Youka trying to get into Aki's hobbies? What's Youka's "dark past" reallly lik? Does Aki have something similar she's been hiding as well? Would be interesting to see how they'd fight as well - just what would get them to really get angry at each other, and how do they make up afterwards?

-Matsuri & Miyu: More on their sporting activities, whether separately or together! How are their sporting careers like post-high school - would there be any changes of plans? What other non-sports-related thing do each of them like to do in their downtime? More on either the early days of their relationship, or how they're like once they start living together would be sweet. I'd also love to see both or either of them trying to impart some relationship advice to more of their juniors!

-Miki & Seina: I really like the way they influence each other in canon - perhaps a look at what their beautification committee work looks like after that one incident, or after Miki's graduation? Something that focuses on Seina's physical strength would be fun too - maybe she needs to lift Miki up for one of their errands, or for, ah, fun? For either of them separately, maybe more on Miki before she had Seina to help out, or more on Seina's home life?
